It is very much a New 2 Day Diet Japan Lingzhi

One of the points of contention surrounding the Obama administration's healthcare reform efforts is that they are a slippery slope towards socialized medicine, if not there already. Those concerns are New 2 Day Diet Japan Lingzhi legitimate to some degree, but largely overblown: private health insurers remain intact, though subject to more regulation. There isn't even a nationalized public option to undercut them, contrary to what many liberals desired.

In countries that actually have true single-payer health care, our recent reforms are quite moderate. For better or for worse, such moderation is what would be expected in America. It is very much a "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" society, without much of a social safety net.

Putting ideological differences aside, many are worried that any step towards Canada- or Western Europe-style socialized medicine will lower the quality of health care patients receive. Reports of months-long waiting times and inferior equipment have gained their attention, as have instances when wealthy residents of those other nations choose to visit the U.S. for speedier service.

However, in a survey of 22 nations by Ipson/Reuters (taken from November to January), several nations are more satisfied with their health insurance than the United States. 51 percent of American respondents are satisfied with their current health insurance plan, showcasing the split that has made healthcare reform such a divisive and contentious issue. That number, though, pales in comparison to the percentage of people in Sweden and Canada who believe it would be fairly easy to get medical treatment for a sick relative: 75 and 70 percent, respectively.

That disparity could be largely due to the greater spending on health care in the United States, which has shown little or no improvement in life expectancy compared to over developed nations. One of the issues touted by supporters of healthcare reform is that millions of Americans find it difficult to receive care because of their lack of access to affordable health insurance--whether that is due to their having a pre-existing condition or working for a small business that does not offer it. Family health insurance has been especially costly on the open market. The recently passed legislation is meant to remedy those ills, though it remains to be seen if it will be successful.

Should we dump the Japan Hokkaido Slimming Pills current system entirely and go for state-run universal health care entirely? Not exactly. Other nations with a socialized health insurance plan, including Great Britain, Germany, and Japan, have a majority of residents who are dissatisfied with their systems.
